Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2007/02/08 17:50 Some of my favorites are "Sit Down You're Rockin' The Boat" from Guys and Dolls, "Run Freedom, Run" from Urinetown, "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray and "Who Will Buy?" from Oliver! I haven't really been in a chorus, because I've only been in two musicals, but I've seen a lot of plays and these were some of my favorites! *Stephanie*

Favorite roles:
Petey Fisk in Greater Tuna
The Cat in The Hat in Seussical
Dainty June in Gypsy

I forgot about Rocking the Boat! That is one of my favorite musical theatre songs!

Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2007/02/17 16:49 Facade and Murder, Murder from Jekyll and Hyde
Be Our Guest from BatB
Finale, Do You Dear the People Sing?, and One Day More form Les Mis
Toledo Surprise from Drowsy Chaperone
Prima Donna from PotO

And others that will pop into my head at the most inopportune moment.
Hey yo!
Let's go to the mo-fro (Melody Freeze),
To get a fro yo (frozen yogurt),
then we'll stop by the scho-sho (Scholorshop),
on our way to WYSO (World Youth Symphony Orchestra)!

Just a little saying from Interlochen, possibly one of the greatest places on the globe!

Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2007/02/18 15:26 Has anybody mentioned "Seasons of Love"? I can't believe I didn't think of that earlier.

Re:DQ - 2/3/07: Best Chorus Numbers - 2007/02/18 16:05 I have to agree with "People Vs. Horton the Elephant" from Seussical. I'd also say "Biggest Blame Fool."

"Put On Your Sunday Clothes" from Hello Dolly was my favorite part of the show. There are 6 part harmonies, and it has a high C written at the end. (I was cast in the show to sing that C... when the directors forgot my name, he called me the "high C girl")

I'd also say:

- "Pandemonium" and "Magic Foot" from 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
- "Telephone Hour" from Bye Bye Birdie
- "Another Saturday Night in New York" and "I Love You Because" from I Love You Because
- "Jesus Christ Superstar" from JCS
- "Stick to the Status Quo" from HSM
- "You Won't Succeed on Broadway" from Spamalot

Notes/Prima Donna and Notes/Twisted Every Way are chorus songs?
To go into acting is like asking for admission to an insane asylum. Anyone may apply, but only the certifiably insane are admitted.
