thanks - 2007/01/08 00:39 thanks for the welcome, all! it's a tough market out here in chicago; i used to do theatre out in sacramento where there's not nearly so much competition for parts. i hit ragtime auditions at porchlight musical theatre today and was completely blown away by the talent...while i used to prepare for leads and took callbacks for granted, it looks like i'm going to have to cross my fingers and prepare my butt off for ensemble (and i'm for sure not crossing my fingers for any of these shows i'm currently trying out for)!

still, it's probably good for me to have such a challenge and it would be incredible just to share the stage with some of the amazing talent i've heard so far.

roles (the significant ones): laurey in "oklahoma!", grace farrell in "annie", the mistress in "evita", cha-cha in "grease", marion thayer in "titanic"
