Zombie Prom? - 2008/02/11 11:16
OKay, so this summer at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, our high school went through the American High School Theatre Festival. About twenty other schools were chosen from the US to go. When we were there, we were required to see the other High School's shows. We took Chicago. We saw shows like Les Mis, Once on this Island, things like that.
One of the shows that we saw was called "Zombie Prom." I didn't know if anyone had heard of/seen it before. Apparently it was off-broadway for a couple of months then closed. Also, it was made into a short-movie in 2006 starring RuPaul.
It's actually a cute show. It's a lot like Grease with both the music and plot. High school setting, 50's music; just add a zombie to Grease and it's basically the same thing..
