Hello! - 2007/02/01 02:49Hi! My name is Elisabeth (obviously) and I've been involved in theater mostly in highschool. Right now, I'm mostly involved with Christian Youth Theater, and it's been quite an experience. I don't know if any of you have heard of CYT before, but it's really a great group; show quality wise and environment. Anyway...I hope that doesn't make me sound like I'm some goody two shoes, but I'm sure you know how rough and cut dry theater can be. Politics are at a minimum, but not perfect.
So that's my theater story, I guess.

CYT has branches all over the US, the biggest of which is in California (where one of the Elphabas got her start...Eden Espinosa, I believe). But it has since branched out and I am in the Chicago division. The main website is http://cyt.org if you want to know more about it.

i'm glad to hear you have limited politics at cyt; that's a huge pet peeve for me (and most others) and it's all over the place, from small companies to professionals.
