Hello my fellow thespians! - 2008/02/17 17:08Name: Samantha Jean Gibson (please call me Sam....or Gibby) Age: 17 Occupation: Student and part time lifeguard What's your favorite show?: Tie between Wicked and Spring Awakening Least Favorite Show?: Not sure yet. Haven't seen many I don't like. Your favorite role you've had: Straight Play: Natalie (in a play I wrote and directed) Musical: Mother Abbess (The Sound of Music) What is your ultimate dream role??: Elphaba in Wicked How did You get into theatre?: My mom got me into it before I even started elementary school. Something you can't live without (You can't say anything theatre related): My voice. Any Random Fears: Not a fan of needles and a little scared of heights. (only out in the open heights) If you had to eat one thing forever what would it be?: Tacos Play Any Sports?: Softball. I'm catcher, center field and 1st base. Favorite Color: Blue What's your vocal range?: Mezzo Soprano (I've sang all parts from Tenor to Soprano) How did you find MTA?: I was looking for good audition songs and the site came up in my search. Anything else?: Well I'm fairly normal. I want to go to college for theater and get a minor in journalism. I can pull off comedy fairly well but I like to act in more dramatic role better.Current Role- Much Ado About Nothing--Friar Francis and Cinderella--Wandering Minstrel

Favorite Musical: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!!!!!! As for more "happy" musicals i like BATB, Music Man, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Singin' in the rain!!!
