King BS...I mean Bull Sparra! - 2007/04/23 20:52
Yesterday, I stepped off of the stage form playing two of my biggest roles ever.
I should explain the play first.
The Legend of Redwall Abbey is a paly based on the Redwall book by Brian Jacques. We had a small cast so the roles got doubled up.
I got Friar Hugo and King Bull Sparra. They both had their own songs, and averse in another song.
Friar Hugo = I did great on this role. The job called for a pompous braggart, which I think I portrayed great. I was typecast in this role because normally I"m really pompous.
King Bull = This role was fun. I got to play around with it, and be a mentally retarded sparrow, who was te King of all he could see (which was a lot because he can fly) I got to change around my insanity each night until I found the right combination. I got a few rounds of applause when I bowed which was great for me, having only played chorus roles before.
Along with those roles I played piano for the show, meaning I got my name in for a production credit as well.
Favorite role: King Bull Sparra in The Legend of Redwall Abbey
Current role : Kratnoff the History Buff in High School Musical. |
