I have to say I am hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I do think Brittany Snow makes the most adorable Amber, I loved her in American Dreams, but I'm not sure of her singing abilities, and I was really looking forward to seeing Queen Latifah as Motormouth Maybelle, but in that clip her vocals just seem to fall flat, there's no energy and that song is usually so full of life.

Some of the other casting choices just seem a little, well, off, but you would think the casting directors would know what they are doing, so I guess we'll see... ----------Emily----------

I agree! I'm just happy I'm not the only one that thought that! I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible, which is becoming harder and harder. Still, I want it to be great. We all know the story works on screen; look at the original! I just wonder how the songs will translate. I have a feeling they'll lose the pep that they have on stage. Shelby

Isn't John Travolta going to be in it? If so great/hilarious!

And Zac Efron? Is that the kid from HSM? If so I guess he was my "favorite". The opposite of Rent is Oklahoma!!! Why didn't I think of that?

For someone who seems to have such an energetic personality, it sure didn't come across in her singing. And Holly, I too have a huge crush on Zac Efron but is it just me or does he look a bit too little to play Link? I just hope he pulls it off cuz I love him. I wanna se the movie no matter what, though! -Georgia
