It's a small part. Our Phra Alack also doubled as the Interpreter in the first scene, which was a cute bit, too. He was also one of the priests that cross the stage and sing a counter-melody with the kids ("There's No Place Like Home") and was one of the dancers in the Uncle Tom's Cabin scene, which is the best part of the play, in my opinion.
It is a really wonderful show, and if your production is lacking in men (as ours always are), you'll probably be playing more than just that part. Maybe find out first, and see if it's an experience you'll enjoy. But it is a small part.
