HSM reality show - 2008/03/04 22:03I JUST found out on tv, ABC will have a reality show to find the "Next High School Musical star"! I will so NOT be watching it!!! Do they really need ANOTHER reality show on tv, especially a HSM reality show?!?!?!
Thoughts?Favorite Shows: POTO, Wicked, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, BATB, Music Man and more!

Favorite Shows: Young Frankenstein, Curtains, Little Shop of Horrors, The Producers Dream Roles that I have NO CHANCE of Getting Because of Something i Have no control over: Ulla from the Producers or Inga from Young Frankenstein (neither tall nor blonde - such a shame too, because this is one of my favorite "character roles" to play), Igor from Young Frankenstein (i'm no man, no matter how many times i play one), Gary Coleman from Avenue Q (skin color) SEEING ON MARCH 29TH ON BROADWAY - YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ^^ AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Re:HSM reality show - 2008/03/10 21:55Another reality show is being done because of a number of reasons here in Hollywierd. It is cheaper to produce and make a profit. They don't have to pay unknown people as much money. The Writers Union Strike and the possibility of future strikes by other Showbiz Unions - the Producers in Hollywood go into meetings and plan the future season to be ready for future strikes.
In England - Andrew Lloyd Webber produced a show called "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria". It was a HUGE hit T.V. show. England picked his Maria for a production of S. of Music. By the time Maria was picked, ALW not only had a hit t.v. show on his hands, his production of Sound of Music was a Sold Out sensation in London. He owned the theatre that the musical played in (he made money there). He was the producer of the musical as well as the t.v. show. So Hollywood saw this and decided to do the same thing here with "Grease." Grease was not anywhere near the sensation as was S of M, but because of all the strikes Hollywood deemed it good enough to try again. It's all about the money.
