I grew up playing piano and I went to a private school when I was little that was centered a lot around singing for some reason. Yea, and I hope you get Rapunzel in ITW! Good Luck! Haha...and I believe sometimes, that I should have been born earlier in the decade...maybe the forties or the twenties, or sixties...I love those eras.

When we had to take band in 6th grade (they did away with the program the following year), I loved it.. I would probably be in band now, in high school, except it's been a few years since I've picked up an instrument and at my school at least, people in band are pretty much considered nerds who were too loser-ish to take gym : / Ohhh well. I make up for it though by taking choir haha. And I love those eras, too..!

My K through 12 private school's entire music program consists of really short (choir-centric) music classes for K-6, 35 minutes of a choir/drama/art 3 week rotation for 7 & 8, and one upper school choir containing a grand total of 40 people. It's pretty sad. We're the only private school in Fort Worth that doesn't have some sort of Band/Orchestra program.-Georgia
