Monologue for trying out for "Laurie" in OKLAHOMA! - 2008/04/17 14:35
I will be trying out for Laurie in our college production of OKLAHOMA!
I will be singing "Many a New Day", and pretty much have that nailed. We have to have a monologue, and while it is quite easy to find comedic monologues or very dramatic monologues, I can't seem to find one in between that is quite serious and romantic. I was advised by one of the people on the board of this production to find a romantic serious monologue. If there are any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it as I continue on with my search!
