Stae fair audition - 2008/04/16 17:44
My high school is doing State fFair next year and I am already thinking about sept. Auditions. I am an alto 2, with a very broad range. I have been told that my warm mature tone is what makes my voice stand out. I played the sour kangaroo (a huge strain on my voice, but I did it) in seussical this year and the director said I would be a perfect Mama rose if he were doing Gypsy but he isn't. I am definately not the ingenue type. Which role in stsate fair should I go for and which one fits my vocal range. I have been searching, but I don't know if any of the female roles would even fit my voice.Thanks (I am 17)
