Once on this Island, Jr - 2008/03/03 12:49 Hello,

I was just cast as Ti Moune in Once on this Island, Jr.

Can anybody tell me what's different between the full version & the Jr version? I have the cast recording of the Broadway version but have never seen the Jr version and can't find anything helpful at the Broadway Jr web site.

Re:Once on this Island, Jr - 2008/03/03 22:46 Basically in the Jr. version the music is some of the music is shortened (Waiting for life, We Dance, Forever Yours) some of the music is cut (Some Say). Also the main conflict is changed to poor vs. rich as opposed to racism. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I've done the Jr. version twice and its still a lot of fun.

I was totally wondering about the race thing, since I'm blonde!

Re:Once on this Island, Jr - 2008/05/02 15:34 I was in the junior version as Erzulie and the full-length version as Mama Euralie and both productions were a lot of fun.
