Only I'm alot trouble finding a good start and stop place i nthe piece to get a solid 32 bars!

Theirs a solid 32 bars from the beginning, but its in an awkward ending place do you think the college audition panel would look down at that?

Theirs also another section but it has 7 bars of intro would a college audition panel not like the fact that theirs 7 bars of intro.

HELP ME OUT HERE.

(That's the most powerful, beautiful part of the song, I think) Or if that isn't 32 bars, start at the last "Then I was inspired" part and go to the end.

I don't have sheet music for this, so this is hypothetical. I think this would be a really impressive song to sing.

I plan on starting where you suggested ("Then I was inspired..." section.), but its not 32 bars without those 7 bars of intro.

So I'm praying its ok because if so I have one piece of college auditiong material ready to go! Name: Bruce

Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:Gethsmane: I Only want say - 2008/01/27 11:59 Hmm. It seems to me that in a slow song like this, 32 bars is going to be a lot more substantial than, say, 32 bars of "There's a Sucker Born Every Minute" or the like.

You could probably not worry about the 7 bars of intro- i don't think the audition panel would have the sheet music in front of them, counting the bars! That section of the song shows great range, and it shouldn't matter if it's not precisely 32 bars.
