HONK JR! - 2008/03/27 09:40 Okay, I just found out that my director at school is directing Honk Jr. at a community theatre very close to me and it starts and ends before I go to my first summer camp this summer. And, I would be working under my own director and in the community theatre! I was thinking of auditioning for it.

I'll probably have to miss one day of rehearsal for Broadway Babies though.

I'm a mezzo/alto. Anyway, song and character audition suggestions would be welcome. Thank you! Upcoming: US Performing Arts Camps

Re:HONK JR! - 2008/03/27 10:02 Another Drewe & Stiles song is always good. "Wait a bit" from Just So seems perfect. Also check out The Card, another show of theirs. Their official websites gives details on all their shows including characters and sound clips, very useful.

Favorite Musical: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!!!!!! As for more "happy" musicals i like BATB and Music Man (and lots of others, that i can't think of right now!)

Re:HONK JR! - 2008/04/18 11:05 I just had my Honk audition. I had it at school because I couldn't make the auditions because of my rehearsals that run so late. Anyway, I sang "Wait A Bit" and the director red me for Dot, the mother goose, and then for the cat. I read through the cat scene twice, because she told me I need to be more menacing and 'evil,' so I did and I must admit, I did pretty good the second time. :] Upcoming: US Performing Arts Camps
