I propose... - 2007/01/08 22:09 ...two things!

1) Add a "How did you find MTA?" question to the new member questionare, for reference.
2) Have a master list on a thread of everyone's name, also for reference. =]

Re:I propose... - 2007/01/08 22:12 HAHAHA!! shelby, great minds must think alike. or maybe we share a brain cell....

i was thinking of that same ? but i was just going to post it in a new thread... ("how did you find MTA?")

let me answer--

i found it a while back, though i am only an official registered member since this summer, when i was researching shows and roles and trying to build my repetoire. i think i might have done a search on good audition songs or overdone audition songs. the site has been very helpful and i enjoy trying to be of help to other peeps!
They call me Jessica (like: They call me lady luck... lol)

Favorite roles:

Eva Peron, Evita; Jack's Mother, Into the Woods; Sonia, Godspell; Anything Goes, Reno Sweeney; Audrey, Little Shop of Horrors; Catherine, Pippin

Re:I propose... - 2007/01/08 22:39 Great ideas Shelby!

I have added the MTA question to the questionnaire.

Maintaining a list of all the intro threads could be time consuming... I'll think about what might be the best way to do that.

Re:I propose... - 2007/01/08 23:01 To respond to the new question:

I found MTA in a Google search for "audition songs." Currently, my search for an audition song is occupying my free time, and MTA has been very helpful in informing me of what I should definitely not use. Now, to find the song that I will...

Re:I propose... - 2007/01/08 23:20 The worst part of auditioning, huh? Actually finding the right song is more difficult than doing the audition, I feel. Caitlin

Re:I propose... - 2007/01/09 00:43 I think I found this searching around for acting tips one day. I love the wealth of info that was on here. I became a member in the summer but didn't contribute for a long long time. I guess I just didn't have anything to say. I have been searching for a different site that specializes in other kinds of plays (not just musicals) but so far no luck. Oh well, at least I'm learning everything I ever wanted to know about musical theatre. Plus my auditions are improving!

Re:I propose... - 2007/01/14 21:48 I found this site over a year ago now, so I can't remember how, but it was probably google. To go into acting is like asking for admission to an insane asylum. Anyone may apply, but only the certifiably insane are admitted.
