Re:Stuff We've learned from Musicals.... - 2008/05/04 23:36
All from Urinetown:
-when a little girl like me has been given this many lines, there is STILL HOPE! -sometimes, in a musical, it's better to focus on one big thing instead of a bunch of little things. -don't be the bunny! -nothing ruins a good musical like too much exposition. -this is NOT a 'happy musical' -I'm the narrator. Nothing can happen to me, I have to finish the story! -follow your heart -as the sign clearly says, it's a secret hideout. -Urinetown is your town if you're hopeless, down and out! -a bad title can ruin a show pretty good -no one is innocent -beating people is wrong! -life is wrong- embrace it! -it will be hard for your love with Hope to grow if she is tied to a chair -it's a privelege to pee
