Click here to see the profile of this user 		Classic Opening Numbers - 2008/03/14 11:26 Hello all, I am trying to put together a review of Broadway songs, past, present and future. I really want to highlight up and coming composer but where I live no one would come see it. So I am doing the first act songs everyone knows from Bway past and present and second act all new stuff by up and comings.

I need a classic opening number to start off the show, something from Broadway past. I came up with these so far:

Another Op'nin, Another Show
No Business Like Show Business
Magic to Do

I would be so grateful if people gave their opinions on these, or even better gave me some other songs to choose from. Thank you all very much. Mike

Another one that comes to mind is "Comedy Tonight" _____________

I totally agree! Favorite Shows: POTO, Wicked, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, BATB, Music Man and more!
