Re:New Stuff to Get Into - 2008/03/12 21:50 Les Miserables (I prefer the London cast recording over the origional Broadway recording) and West Side Story are basicly neccesary in your repertoire, they are shows you kind of have to own. Others I really enjoy that you haven't listed are Urinetown, The Lion King, and almost anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, etc).

Good luck finding new favorites and have fun

Re:New Stuff to Get Into - 2008/03/12 22:14 I absolutely adore the Little Mermaid OBC and Mary Poppins OWEC (West End, since its from there) soundtracks. I hope they come out with a Broadway sountrack though... Micah---

Re:New Stuff to Get Into - 2008/03/15 23:01 ha, nice. We share pretty much the same taste in musicals because I have almost every single one you have, lol. The ones I have that you don't are: Bat Boy (LOVE it), Cats, Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens, The Drowsy Chaperone, Fame (which is one of my faves), Footloose (another favorite), The Full Monty, John and Jen, Light in the Piazza, The Lion King, A New Brain, Nine, Ragtime (another of my favorites), Seussical, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Song and Dance, Sunday in the Park With George, Zanna Don't (a good one!) and Spelling Bee.

PS. SCORE for having In My Life!!!! Only a select few got our hands on that one, lol!
